Weltformel, Theory of Everything. 1, 2011 - 2013
installation - 80 black drawing books 184 x 632 x 627 cm; 5 red drawing books 21 x 614 x 613 cm, Video 4:46 Loop
If our focus is on the truth, we will always be in a dilemma.
The work consists of 80 black sketchbooks.
Except from the first and last book, a circle is cut out of every single page of the books so that invisible, spherical spaces are created within the book series.
The cut-out paper circles are provided with a note on the concept of the work.
Then, circle by circle, they become spherical sculptures. -

unsichtbare Sichtbarkeit 1, 2012, acryl, wood, aluminium, 240 x 40 x 40 cm
installation, 7inch monitor
If you have no interest and imagination, you might not notice anything.
In the two pedestals under the object there are two small monitors and so two different films shot from a bird's eye view are shown.
The house and its pedestal are high enough and the egg lies like a lid on the pedestal, so you can't see the two films in the pedestal from the outside. -

open your eyes 1, 2003, photo series
installation
The photo looks like a normal photo of an apple.
But the apple in the photo is replaced by a "fake apple".
For the "fake apple" at first a scene with a real apple is photographed and the photo is printed with a printer, then the shape of the apple is cut out.
Then the "fake apple" is inserted into the scene again and photographed.
As if the "FAKE" is reality and original. -

Anweisung für die Welt; Die Welt, die wir sehen, ist immer ein Teil des Ganzen 1, 2011, PVC, as object 60 x 60 x 100 cm
The tower-like object looks as if it were constructed from many individual square plates, but these are connected to each other at one of their edges. If one breaks down the hundred squares, the object becomes one large plate. Each individual plate has a round recess in its centre.
If the panels are folded up to form a sculpture, the holes within the cuboid form a spherical space of their own, which cannot be seen from the outside. -

Alles gehört nur zur Aufgabe 1, 2010 - 2011, acryl, wood, clay, weight, wire rope, 100 x 200 x 460 cm
These installations consist of anthropomorphic figures and pedestals. The pedestals are attached to the ceiling with thin nylon cords.
Weights in the figures and below the pedestals create a seesaw like a fragile balance. -
